WHEEMS
ORGANIC FARM is
an ecological and organic 10 hectare
horticulture and animal smallholding, producing
organic food for a local market.
Wheems farm buildings are 200 years old and
have been renovated using local, traditional and susatainable materials.
Wheems farmland has been sensitively landscaped with areas set aside for conservation, areas carved out with stone dyke
walling, and areas of tree planting.
SITUATION.
Wheems faces south and east
on a hillside with sea-cliffs and
beaches, on South Ronaldsay, the Orkney Islands, Scotland. On Orkney there
is nature, peace, space and sky.

accommodation for 2 - 8 people in Wheems Self Catering Bothy, and
Camping for up to 16 pitches.

is simple, yet beautiful,
light and airy. There is a small balcony looking out to
the sea, cliffs and beaches.Wheems
Campsite
occupies a sea facing field and facilities for campers and
bothy guests include use of the Wheems Yurt.
